DYNAMIC
SIMULATION LABORATORY (DSL)

The research conducted is focused on the dynamic
modeling of complex mechanical and aerospace systems that consist of
interconnected rigid and flexible components. The goal is to develop new finite
element and computational methods for large scale multibody systems, and
address the fundamental issues that deal with the small and large deformation
problems.
The research in this laboratory has been supported
by the Federal Railroad Administration, the Army Research Office, the National
Science Foundation, Ford Motor Company, Dana Corporation, Komatsu Ltd., and
North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
